These little snacks are a true delight for anyone who loves unique tastes!  These a Solanum Burbankii – a relative of tomatoes, peppers and eggplants.

Hugely productive plants that produce loads of little fruits that look like a cross between a berry and tomato.  These ripen from green to black but will likely cause stomach upset if eaten during the unripe or green phase.

Semi-tart and semi-sweet at the same time with a flavor lending to umami dishes.

Truly awesome for adding color to any dish or making beautiful syrups!
