Another amazing umami addition from the Nara Prefecture in Japan.  Similar to the Shishito pepper, but with more depth of flavor and much more color.  Excellent for grilling at all stages!

Pods ripen from very dark purple-black with green interior to mixed purple and red eventually to full red.

Plants have dark foliage.
