Description
Coming to us from the Jammu and Kashmir region and Himachal Pradesh in India, these peppers were brought to India via the Columbian Exchange around 450 years ago and this specific variety was cultivated in the Himalayan foothills to provide deep color without extreme heat.
Wonderful in curries and tandoori cuisine; highly aromatic.
Pods ripen from green to red.
